Experience

Curt and Kelly are twenty somethings. Twenty years in campus ministry that is. In fact they have been leaders on campus since they were both art majors at Central Washington University (the Harvard of Eastern Washington).

Don't be impressed by the fact that they have started more than a few new Chi Alpha groups, trained multiple campus pastors, served on the National Staff, led Reach the U Institute, directed the first World SALT, have spoken all over the place and can play several musical instruments (including the ukulele). No, their true talents are making killer tortellini and for one of the legendary informal leadership get-togethers in their home.

Currently

Curt and Kelly are currently Directors of West Coast Chi Alpha. They live in the Sacramento area (no they haven't seen Arnold personally yet) and spend long but fun days planting new Chi Alpha groups all over Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.

To do this, Curt travels extensively. Known as a dynamic speaker who uses stories and humor to bring home serious truth and real Biblical content, he does on-site training, mobilization of student groups, assistance for church based campus ministries and helps full-time campus pioneers establish groups on unreached campuses.

Kelly works primarily as a graphic designer to help our new plants have the best of the best design materials. She is also well known as the guru of instant messaging leadership development (we're not kidding - she has IM conversations with about 1000 leaders every day). This it is no wonder, as she is known as a straight shooter and all around sage.

Curt and Kelly have been married and working together full-time in ministry for 21 years. They actually still love each other and even more impressively still like each other too.
